Effervescence Tasmania is your chance to experience the best of the best Tasmanian Sparkling in one extraordinary showcase as well as participating in additional events at the Clover Hill Cellar Door.

Indulge your senses and experience the sublime marriage of the premium sparkling wines from world acclaimed Pipers River wine region and the creative dishes from the talented Stillwater Kitchen team.

In the intimate dining surroundings of Stillwater Restaurant you will be treated to a four-course degustation menu artfully matched with current vintage and museum release wines from the oldest continued museum of Methode Traditionelle Sparkling wines in Tasmania.

Sleeping under the stars in luxurious bell tents set amongst the vines, the Clover Hill glamping experience includes is a 2 night stay (Friday 15th & Saturday 16th November 2019), with optional extras available to completely immerse you and your partner in all the weekend has to offer at Clover Hill and the Effervescence Grand Tasting.

The garden party that dreams are made of! Clover Hill Wines will be lined up side by side with some of Tasmania’s best sparkling wine producers to entice you with a taste, a glass or a bottle of their finest. Delight in the beautiful garden surrounds of Josef Chromy Wines, groove to smooth beats and enjoy the greatest tasting of Tasmanian Sparkling Wines open to the public.

Huon Clover Hill Masterclass

HUON SALMON MASTERCLASS WITH CLOVER HILL

The Smokemaster from Huon Salmon will guide you through the process of smoking and curing salmon. Learn all of the tips you need to create your very own cured or smoked Huon Salmon for your next gathering. All the while, sipping on Clover Hill Sparkling Wines paired with your Huon products .

You must have tickets to the Grand Tasting to access this class.

MEET THE MAKER | ROBERT HEYWOOD

Join Chief Winemaker, Robert Heywood, as he takes you through his winemaking journey, the history of Clover Hill and how we are able to craft wines of pedigree. He will discuss Clover Hills cool-climate location and intimate attention to detail given are vital for crafting wines with finesse and complexity. All while you enjoy award-winning Clover Hill Wines.

You must have tickets to the Grand Tasting to attend this masterclass.

DEGUSTATION DINNER AT CLOVER HILL

A selection of current vintage and museum Clover Hill wines will be matched to spectacular dishes prepared in Clover’s Kitchen by our talented Chef. For those that have not experienced the food on offer at Clover Hill cellar door on weekends, the dishes are unique and striking, with juxtaposing flavours and textures, as well as aesthetics to mirror the environment and pair perfectly with the wines on offer.

MUSEUM MASTERCLASS AND LUNCH

Your experience will include enjoying a flight of Clover Hill current and museum Sparkling Wines, while one of our Winemakers explains the techniques used in the art of making ‘Méthode Traditionelle’ sparkling wines. These wines will be matched with our unique food offering from the Clover Hill Kitchen.

17th November

THE TAMAR EXPERIENCE

Bus tour departs 9am from Mantra on Charles Hotel, returns approx. 4pm

Experience the JANSZ Vineyard with an overview of the region with our winemaker, tasting some older back vintage wines and enjoying a delicious brunch prepared by Hubert and Dan. Appox 2 ¼ hrs.

The second stop is at DELAMERE, where you will be taken behind the scenes of this family-owned and operated winery. Winemaker/Owners Shane Holloway and Fran Austin will take you through their passion for a sensory tour of the traditional methode process. Taste the wines at each stage of production and experience the magic of this remarkable wine style. Approx 1 1/2 hrs.
