Idiom Estate Pinot Gris

$ 30.00

Idiom wines are a boutique production of small parcels of fruit sourced solely from Tasmanian vineyards. Crafted with traditional techniques, these wines reflect the regionality, the growing season and winemaking techniques.

Idiom Estate Pinot Gris is an intense expression of the varietal with bright flavours and a light body yet mouth-filling palate. With a bronze blush, from the skins of the grapes, the Idiom Estate Pinot Gris holds a bright clarity. Allowed to breath, soft aromatic notes of apricot and tropical fruits rise from the glass. These aromas develop on the palate with mouth-filling flavours of peach and kumquat. These sweet flavours are deceptive, as this light-bodied wine is carried by a soft acid that is persistent on the finish.

“A CHEERFUL BUNCH”

The use of idioms is common place within the wine industry, from banter in the vineyard rows to assessing aged wines in the cellar. With memories of relaxing in the afternoon sun, looking down through the vineyard to the glistening waters of the Bass Straight, this wine brings cheer to all occasions.
