Commencing at 4:30 pm, enjoy a private viewing of the Hadley’s Art Prize finalists in the Leadlight Room, and John Webb Room.
With an introduction by Art Curator, Dr Amy Jackett, and at Q+A with finalist artists to talk about their work.
And, in conversation with Cellar Door Manager Ian White, we will indulge in five Clover Hill Sparkling Wines matched to five Elevated Canapés as we tour through the Hadley’s Art Prize Gallery.
WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW?
Hadley’s Orient Hotel has a long history with art starting with art-loving landlords in the late 1800s. The Hadley’s Art Prize, Hobart contributes to the art community, celebrates excellence in contemporary landscape art, promotes cultural tourism in Tasmania, and restores art to the historic walls of Hadley’s Orient Hotel though a landscape prize like Howard Hadley won in 1895.
